Bow Screens are used to dewater reject water from wastewater treatment plants, screening, thickening and dewatering of e.g. paper mill backwater.

Features
The separated material is gradually fed downwards onto the top of the screen where it is dewatered and finally falls over the bottom edge. The separated material is preferably collected in a container or on a conveyor belt. The screened water flowing down through the slits of the screen surface is collected in the bottom of the container for further transport out through the outlet, which can optionally be located at the bottom of the container, at the back or at the gable end.
